Coffee Morning and Post Office

Every Wednesday morning from 10am to Midday. Managed by Cury Village Hall, Cury Women’s Institute, Cury Old Cornwall Society and Cury Church on a rotating basis. Donations taken for teas, coffees and snacks.

A mobile Post Office facility is set up in our bar for the morning, also selling a selection of newspapers.

Quiz Night

On the first Friday of every month from 7:30PM (doors open 7PM). £4 per team to enter. Our bar is open before the quiz begins as well as during the mid-quiz break, and a raffle is held at the end of the evening.

C Fylm Film Club

On the last Friday of every month except December. To join the club costs £6 per adult per year which includes your first film screening. After this each film screening at Cury Village Hall will cost £4 to attend. Your membership can also be used at any other C Fylm club across Cornwall. We aim to host a wide variety of films and always take suggestions on board. Films shown so far include Fisherman’s Friends, Rocketman, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Duke, and many more.

Cury & Gunwalloe Old Cornwall Society

Meet on the second Thursday of each month from 6:45PM with visiting speakers. Membership £12 per year then £2 per meeting attended.

Cury Women’s Institute

Meeting first Thursday of each month from 7:15PM with regular guest speakers. Non-members welcome, £4 on the door.

Helston & Lizard Wargamers

Meeting every Wednesday from 7PM to 11PM, featuring miniature tabletop games, board games and role-playing games.
